Criteria:
1. Devotion to the aims of the University in teaching, research, and
public service.
2. Exemplification of high ideals in personal life.
3. Length and quality of service to the University or to the Alumni
Association. Former employees of UMAA may be considered for this award.
4. Standing among alumni.
5. Recipients of the Pine Tree Emblem Award are not eligible.
6. Recipient need not be an alumnus/a.
Procedures:
Nominations shall be sought from the alumni at large.
Number of Awards:
Four awards may be presented annually. The Selection Committee may
recommend additional candidates to the Board of Directors.
